MATCH PACK: Hartlepool United (H)

Next up at home for the Iron in the Enterprise National League, we welcome a Hartlepool United side, who will be looking to build on a summer of significant change and make a push towards the play-off places during the 2026-27 campaign.

Pools finished ninth in the National League last season, narrowly missing out on the play-offs after a campaign which saw significant changes in the dugout. Simon Grayson departed in October, with club legend Nicky Featherstone taking interim charge before being appointed permanently in December. Featherstone guided Hartlepool through to the end of the season, but stepped down following a review.

Hartlepool have already gone through one manager this season, with former boss Lee Clark resigning from his position last weekend after a disappointing start to the campaign.

An encounter that has become increasingly familiar to the Iron, Scunthorpe and Hartlepool have faced each other regularly across both the EFL and National League in recent years. The two sides played out goalless draws at Victoria Park and Glanford Park during the 2021-22 League Two campaign, before meeting twice in the National League last season. Scunthorpe claimed a 2-1 victory at the Prestige Group Stadium on Boxing Day, while the return fixture at the Attis Arena ended goalless in April.

Tickets are on sale for the Iron's match against Hartlepool United on Saturday, September 26th (3pm kick-off).

As per previous seasons, the Early Bird rate will be available both in person at our ticket office and online via fanbaseclub.com until three hours before kick-off of home league matches.

Buying online also enables fans to use the FanBase app wallet to enable scanning from their mobile at the turnstile.

The Yeovil Town encounter is a Category A fixture.

CAR PARKING: East car parking can also be purchased via sufctickets.com in advance as an add-on at £5 per car in advance of the game. Paying on arrival by cash or card is also available on the day, with matchday prices for the car park to be confirmed.

Please note, the club does offer a limited number of disabled car parking places available on a first come, first serve basis to blue badge holders. Disabled car parking is also charged at the normal rate.
