Scunthorpe United is delighted to launch our third kit for the 2026-27 season, with the launch taking place in collaboration with local artist Will Parker.
Designed in partnership with our technical kit partner, MEYBA, the dark green shirt carries an intricate tonal jacquard design across the fabric, giving the otherwise understated base plenty of depth. Subtle geometric motifs and repeated club-inspired detailing are woven into the pattern, creating a heritage feel while keeping the overall appearance modern.
A lime-green polo collar provides the defining flash of colour, while the unmistakable zig-zag chevron motifs that MEYBA are famous for wrap over the shoulders. Matching lime edging appears around the sleeves and lower hem, with the bright trim continuing onto the accompanying green shorts to give the complete strip a cohesive look.
At the centre of the shirt sits British Steel’s prominent sponsorship, with its white lettering and distinctive orange logo standing out strongly against the dark green background. The traditional Scunthorpe United crest sits proudly over the heart, while MEYBA branding and the contrasting lime detailing complete the design.
The third strip follows a 2026-27 collection that has already seen Scunthorpe introduce a retro-inspired claret home kitand sky-blue away kit, both featuring MEYBA’s characteristic styling and tonal jacquard construction. The third kit therefore provides a much more adventurous alternative while retaining the textured identity established across the collection.
With its forest-green base, lime accents, geometric texture and vivid British Steel branding, the shirt has a strong retro-football character and feels particularly well suited to the Iron’s industrial identity.
The third shirt will go on sale in person at our club shop from 11am on Saturday morning, as we prepare to host Harrogate Town, and will be exclusive to in-person sales throughout the matchday.
Remaining stock will then be made available online from 6pm on Saturday evening.
Scunthorpe United would like to thank the exceptional work of Pete Hewes and Aaron Cheeseman, now known collaboratively as Panenka, for their fantastic contributions to producing our 2026-27 kit launches. We would also like to thank Will Parker and all involved in the collaboration for their contribution to this launch, which includes his management team filming his elements of the third shirt launch.
