The Iron’s First Team Coach guided the Iron back into the play-off places and saw the team unbeaten in eight out of nine matches during his spell as Interim Manager, while Dawson stepped up from his Professional Phase Development Coach role in the Academy to aid Daws during the successful period.
Chairman Peter Swann said: “We have been very pleased with how Nick and Andy have done during their time in interim charge, and also during their previous spell in 2016, and feel they deserve to be given the opportunity to take the team forward into the 2018-19 season.”
