Antony Coggins will referee the home clash against Accrington Stanley on Saturday.

The Oxfordshire-based official will travel to Glanford Park for his 29th game of the campaign and his 12th in Sky Bet League One.

He has officiated Scunthorpe just twice before - a goalless encounter away at Gillingham, which was incidentally his first ever Sky Bet League One game, and the opening day of this season when the Iron took the points in a 2-1 win over Coventry City. Across both games, he's shown just four yellow cards.

Meanwhile, he's taken charge of Accrington matches on just two previous occasions as well. He first took charge of a goalless draw against Guiseley in the FA Cup in November 2017 before officiating Stanley at Southend United - a game they lost 3-0. Overall, he's shown seven yellow cards across both games.

Coggins ended last season having taken charge of 34 games in all competitions, showing 87 yellow cards and six reds. So far in this campaign, he's refereed 28 games, showing 99 yellow cards and three reds.

On Saturday, he will be assisted by Graeme Fyvie and Lee Freeman, while Simon Clayton is the fourth official.
