Jessop enjoyed a temporary stay at Northern Premier League Division One North West team Pickering Town last term. When there, he was named player of the month for October, making a total of seven starts, scoring three goals.
He was on loan at Northern Premier League outfit Gainsborough Trinity earlier this campaign, scoring once in 10 appearances.
The academy graduate has made five league appearances as a substitute for the Iron during the last two seasons, and also saw his first senior start for the club in the Papa John's Trophy against Manchester City U21s in August.
