Scunthorpe United is delighted to extend midfielder Dean Rance's stay at the club, as the 31-year-old puts pen to paper on a new one-year deal.

He arrived at the Iron in March having made 32 appearances for the Daggers during the course of last season, scoring in their fixture against the United at Glanford Park back in February.

The former Gillingham trainee has plied his trade with Dover Athletic, Aldershot Town and Ebbsfleet United, where he made over 200 appearances in a six year spell. He had spent three years at the Daggers prior to his move to Scunthorpe, making around 100 appearances.

After joining the club, Rance made seven appearances, including five starts.
