Midfielder Josh Morris has been encouraged by the league results so far, but insists there is still a lot of hard work ahead.

United made it back-to-back victories in the league with a 4-0 success at Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.

The game saw the winger score once and set up two more goals, and Morris is pleased to be finding his feet for the 2017-18 season after netting the winner in the 1-0 victory over Oxford during the previous week.

He discussed this and more, as he previewed the Checkatrade Trophy home clash against Sunderland Under-21s for iFollow Iron.

ON THE WIN AT THE WEEKEND...
JM: Plymouth is a very tough place to go. It was a tight game but we showed our fitness and quality in the end and put the game to bed. It was nice to carry on after last week and get back to the league and winning ways. It was a good performance all around. We were professional and did what we needed to do. We’re up and running now. We’ve had a good start but we have to carry it on now, with more tough games ahead.

ON THE CHALLENGE AGAINST SUNDERLAND UNDER-21S...
JM: They will be looking to impress, playing against a league team like us, and it will be tough for us. We have a good squad here and it will be a chance for players to play (who perhaps haven't played as much so far this season).

ON THE IMPORTANCE OF GOING FAR IN THE TOURNAMENT...
JM: The end product is to play at Wembley. The crowd for Coventry v Oxford there (in the final) last season was massive. Any chance to play at Wembley is a big one and we’re looking forward to trying to get there.

ON THE GROUP INCLUDING GRIMSBY AND DONCASTER...
JM: It will be tight so we need to win as soon as possible and try to get through, They are local games and will be great for the fans.

ON THE LAST TWO LEAGUE GAMES IN GENERAL...
JM: You never know what to expect at the start of the season, but it’s been a good couple of weeks for me personally and we’ll be looking to carry that on as a team.
