The Irishman took time after Wednesday's training session to visit the 70 youngsters who had been brushing up on their shooting skills throughout the day at St Lawrence Academy on Doncaster Road and was on hand to give helpful tips and get involved in the drills.
As part of the exercise, the striker - who totals more than 50 goals for the club - worked his way around each individual group, giving autographs and posing for photographs while also taking part in the shooting drills and handing out awards.
Education and Sports Participation Manager Gav Cooper said: "It's massively important that the football club engages with the local community and to have professional footballers take time out of their schedule to come to these sort of events is a big help in what we try to achieve at the SUFC Trust.
"Paddy finished training at Glanford Park at lunchtime, grabbed his lunch and then spent the afternoon with the 70 that attended our courses on Wednesday. He was fantastic, interacting with the children really well, getting involved and it proved to be a really successful day.
