Graham Alexander will take United to the National League North side on Saturday, July 8th (3pm kick-off) for the first of his scheduled encounters ahead of the new campaign.
"We start pre-season off with a lot of tough, physical work and like I said after announcing the York City friendly I just like to have one or two games reasonably early in the pre-season schedule as it gives the players something to look forward to,” said Alexander.
"Players love playing football and this game takes into consideration our relationship with North Ferriby and Steve Housham. We've loaned players there in the past and we're looking for a good relationship going forward. It'll be a good test to begin the training programme in terms of a fixture."
The Villagers finished 24th in the National League last season and were relegated to the tier below just 12 months after their promotion to the division.
