Barks, along with Fin Shrimpton, had been at the side until their season was temporarily suspended due to the second lockdown and the subsequent tiering system.
The 18-year-old made eight starts in his first spell at the Westfield Lane Stadium and was regularly nominated for man of the match awards.
He returns to the side ahead of their Boxing Day trip to face Stocksbridge Park Steels, while the Blues host Worksop Town on New Year's Day.
The current loan deal will run until the end of January.
