Iron attacker Andy Dales has joined Scottish Premier League side Hamilton Academicals on loan until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.

A succession of injuries have curtailed the 25-year-old's season, causing him to make just six appearances for the side in all competitions, three of which in the Leasing.com Trophy. All six of those appearances have come from the substitute's bench.

The 24-year-old joined the club for an undisclosed fee from Mickleover Sports in June 2018, signing a two-year deal. In total, he's made 31 appearances for the Iron, including 11 league starts, scoring two goals - one of which on his debut against Coventry City in August 2018.

The attacking midfielder links up with the Accies ahead of their Scottish Cup fourth round fixture at home to Edinburgh City on Saturday, before being eligible for his first SPL match away against Hibernian at Easter Road on January 22nd.
