Antony Coggins will be the man in the middle when the Iron travel to face Morecambe at on Saturday.

The Oxfordshire-based official will travel to the Mazuma Stadium for his 17th game of the campaign and his sixth in Sky Bet League Two. The current season is his fourth as an EFL official.

He has officiated Scunthorpe just four times before, including his first-ever Sky Bet League One game, which was a goalless encounter away at Gillingham. Across the three games, he's shown nine yellow cards.

Meanwhile, he's taken charge of three previous Morecambe matches in his four seasons on the EFL. The first was incidentally his first-ever game on the EFL as he oversaw their 2-1 home win over Cheltenham Town back in August 2017. That is, until Saturday, his only game in the middle at the Mazuma Stadium. Across the three games, he's shown 14 yellow cards.

Last year, Coggins issued 79 yellows and one red in 24 games, while so far in this campaign, he's refereed 16 games, showing 46 yellow cards and two reds.

On Saturday, he will be assisted by Chris Isherwood and Peter Gooch, while Matthew Parry is the fourth official.
