United come into the game following the abandonment of Tuesday night's game against Bradford City after the half hour mark. That game will now be replayed on a later date.
Scunthorpe, who had won their last three matches prior, sit 18th in the division but could move level on points with Crawley in 12th place should they emerge victorious at the Mazuma Stadium.
TEAM NEWS...
Jem Karacan (arm/shoulder) will be assessed ahead of the game after coming off against Colchester United two weeks ago, but his injury isn't as bad as first feared following a scan last week and manager Neil Cox is optimistic he might be in contention for a return soon.
Jordan Clarke (thigh) has missed the last three matches and was ruled out for a month by Cox two weeks ago.
Harrison McGahey (hamstring) will be given a further week following around two full weeks of training, while Aaron Jarvis (also hamstring) continues to be missing for a further four weeks.
Fin Shrimpton (ankle) is also back on grass, along with Andy Dales (ankle), as they both work their way back to fitness.
Olufela Olomola is back training following a knee injury sustained after coming off the bench against Bolton Wanderers in November, but Cox says he needs to play in a couple of Under-23s matches to get match fitness up first.
THE OPPOSITION...
Derek Adams' side sit sixth in the division and drew 1-1 away at Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday night, as Brad Lyons scored an 83rd minute equaliser with his first touch.
They're unbeaten in two games, following a 2-2 draw at Stevenage too. Their last game at home saw a 1-0 home defeat to Tranmere Rovers at the end of last month.
Adam Phillips is top scorer with 10 goals to his name, and also tops their assists table with seven.
Carlos Mendes Gomes has notched eight times, with Cole Stockton following on six.
Sam Lavelle tops the appearances charts with 26 league starts and one substitute appearance.

Our last meeting came at the Sands Venue Stadium back in November, with Emmanuel Onariase scoring in a 1-1 home draw, as the visitors levelled very late on.
