Scunthorpe United wishes to issue an update on the status of the kit for the 2024-25 season.

Regrettably, we have been informed that our shipment of stock, for both players and for supporters, has been unexpectedly held up by customs for what is now more than two weeks. This situation is beyond the club, and Technical Kit Partner’s Kelme, control and both parties have worked tirelessly to mediate the circumstances.

All dates have been met throughout the process, and all was in place for the kit to arrive well ahead of the Iron’s first pre-season encounter against Barton Town. These unforeseen circumstances will now result in the United players turning out in an alternative kit this evening at the Easy Buy Stadium.

Once the kit does arrive, there will be final filming aspects which need to take place in order for the club’s kit launch videos to be finalised. Scunthorpe United is mindful that a large effort has gone into these videos from Aaron Cheeseman, Pete Hewes and Mitchell Blades over the last four months in preparation, and we do not wish for these to go to waste by revealing the kit prior to these videos being completed.

We would like to thank all supporters who have pre-ordered our brand new home kit. These orders will be prioritised, with all fans who purchase one ahead of the release, receiving theirs first, subject to the postal service.

Once the kit does arrive, staff at the club will be working tirelessly to get this turned around, launched and on sale to supporters as quickly as possible.

Supporters are able to continue pre-ordering our brand new home kit for the 2024-25 season online via https://sufcshop.com/product-category/home-24-25/, and thank all supporters for their continued patience and support.
