United's encounter against the National League side will take place on Saturday, July 27th.
The match will form part of Butler's pre-season preparations for a second campaign in the Vanarama National League North for Scunthorpe.
The last meeting between the two sides in North Lincolnshire was back in August 2022 when the visitors ran out 2-0 winners in the National League. The reverse fixture at the Shay in January 2023 resulted in a 1-0 win for the Iron, with Cameron Wilson scoring the winner in front of the BT Sport cameras.
You'd have to rewind to January 2002 for the previous meeting at the Attis Arena, with Stuart Thom, Steve Torpey (two) and Alex Calvo-Garcia netting in a 4-0 win in Division Three.
