Match sponsorship profile v Doncaster Rovers (H)

This marks their second sponsorship of the season, having been in a similar capacity for the fixture with Oxford United at the beginning of the season.

We spoke to Business Manager Andrew Holliday about the midweek fixture.

“J Naylor Funeral Directors would like to thank Scunthorpe United Football Club for giving them the honour of sponsoring the game at Glanford Park,” said Andrew.

The local business has two premises in Scunthorpe and Brigg, based at Comforts Avenue and Bigby Street respectively. The funeral directors pride themselves in going the extra mile when providing clients with a tailored and personal service to suit all budgets.

Andrew, a Scunthorpe-born qualified funeral director and embalmer with 37 years experience of arranging and conducting funerals, continued: “Every funeral is unique and one of our funeral team will discuss all aspects of the funeral and arrange it according to your wishes - guiding and supporting you through the difficult process of coping with the death of a loved one. We offer a respectful and dignified service while, at the same time, assisting our families to celebrate the life of the deceased.

“We offer clients a high level of service that includes friendly and professional staff, high standard of presentation and the latest available funeral vehicles. There is a large reception where funerals can be arranged or where families can meet prior to the start of a funeral.

“There are five private chapels of repose on site, offering complete discretion and privacy to the bereaved at their time of need.”

Andrew is ably assisted by his son Tony Holliday and colleague David Duckitt.

He continued: “J. Naylor is able to provide a range of services which include horse drawn funerals, woodland burials and repatriation. As well as arranging funerals, we also offer a range of associated services such as the ordering of floral tributes, service sheets and catering.”

The company is also a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD). This means that the premises are regularly inspected and checked to ensure they are complying with the professional code of practice for Funeral Directors.

Andrew finally added: “J Naylor is proud to offer a pre-paid funeral plan from Perfect Choice, which is a plan backed by the NAFD.  For further information on the pre-paid funeral plan, or for assistance with any funeral related query, please do not hesitate to call our team on 01724 280082.”

We thank our match sponsors J. Naylor Funeral Directors for their support of the club and hope they have a great evening with us.
