Tom Bramall will be the man in the middle for the Iron's away Sky Bet League Two encounter against Harrogate Town.

The Sheffield-based official is in his fourth campaign as an EFL referee, and his first as an Select Group Two referee after being promoted to the elite group, predominantly officiating in the Championship.

This game will be his 10th of the current season and his first in Sky Bet League Two.

He's taken charge of four previous competitive Iron games, most recently back in February 2020 when he oversaw the 2-0 home defeat to Cambridge United. Prior to that, he took charge of the 2-1 home win over Coventry City. He showed two yellow cards in that game. He also took charge of the side's 2-1 pre-season win over Burton Albion.

Meanwhile, he's taken charge of the Sulphurites on two occasions, with the most recent at the end of last season as they lost 4-0 away at Oxford United. In tota, across the five games, he's issued 10 cautions and no dismissals.

Last season, he took charge of 33 games competitively, showing 78 yellow cards and four reds.

On Saturday, Bramall will be assisted by Paul Hodskinson and Craig Taylor, while James Bell has been appointed as the fourth official.
