Book of condolence available on Saturday at Sainsbury's - the former site of the Old Show Ground

Scunthorpe United Football Club can confirm the book of condolence in memory of the late Kevin Keegan will journey to Sainsbury's on Saturday, with supporters invited to pay their respects by signing the book over the course of the weekend.

The book will be available to sign between 10am and 1pm at the supermarket, which is built on the site of the Iron's former home the Old Show Ground and where Keegan played his football for the club, providing fans with the opportunity to leave personal messages and remember one of the club's most cherished figures.

Ahead of the club's first return to the Attis Arena on Thursday morning since Kevin's passing on Monday, members of the first-team squad, coaching staff and club officials gathered to pay their respects with floral tributes were laid in his honour before players and club officials signed the book of condolence, reflecting on Kevin's lasting impact on the football club and the wider Scunthorpe United community.

Kevin's dedication, passion and unwavering commitment to Scunthorpe United touched generations of players, staff, volunteers and supporters. His legacy will forever remain a part of the club's history.
