Central defender Will Evans has signed a one-year contract extension ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Scunthorpe United is pleased to confirm that central defender Will Evans has signed a one-year contract extension ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The 34-year-old joined the club three years ago from Boreham Wood and has been instrumental in recent campaigns.
Evans made 42 appearances during his first extended deal, helping Scunthorpe achieve both the club and divisional clean sheet records in their National League North promotion season. He partnered with Andrew Boyce in the 2025-26 campaign but suffered injuries in late October that limited his availability to 33 combined appearances across all competitions.
With nearly 500 appearances at the fifth tier level, Evans aims to surpass his previous season's total moving forward.
The brick wall is locked in!
