Players to wear bespoke warm-up t-shirts this afternoon following Lindsey Lodge partnership launch

Scunthorpe United players will wear bespoke warm-up t-shirts in this afternoon’s fixture against Hartlepool United as the club’s new partnership with Lindsey Lodge Hospice gets underway.

The special shirts have been provided to Lindsey Lodge by TKR and have been created to mark the launch of Lindsey Lodge as Scunthorpe United’s chosen external charity through to the end of the 2027-28 season.

The partnership, announced by the club on Friday, will see Scunthorpe United and Lindsey Lodge work closely together over the next 21 months, with a shared commitment to supporting the local community, raising awareness and enhancing fundraising opportunities for the North Lincolnshire hospice.

The warm-up shirts will form the first fundraising initiative of the partnership, with the players wearing them ahead of the Enterprise National League fixture against Hartlepool United.

Following the match, the shirts will be signed by the players and auctioned, with proceeds from the auction going directly towards Lindsey Lodge Hospice.

The initiative provides supporters with the opportunity to own a unique piece of Scunthorpe United memorabilia while helping support the vital work carried out by Lindsey Lodge for local people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

The club's partnership announcement confirmed that a bucket collection will also take place at Saturday’s fixture, with supporters encouraged to get behind Lindsey Lodge and the work it carries out across North Lincolnshire.

Further details regarding the auction, including how supporters can bid for the signed shirts, will be announced following the fixture.

The initiative follows the club's announcement that Lindsey Lodge will remain its chosen charity throughout the remainder of the 2026-27 campaign and the entirety of the 2027-28 season, with further fundraising events, matchday activities and collaborative initiatives planned throughout the partnership.
