Messingham Under-10s enjoy flag bearing experience before Harrogate game

Flag bearing continued its return to a matchday at the Iron when the side hosted Harrogate Town on Saturday.

Messingham Under-10s became the latest local junior football team to enjoy the group booking package since the return of the popular matchday element, with Scunthorpe suffering a loss on the day.

A number of players from the side were present to enjoy the day, which saw them allowed onto the pitch prior to kick-off for a flag bearing experience.

They welcomed both teams onto the pitch, taking advantage of group booking prices, before enjoying the encounter against the Yorkshire side from the Lincolnshire Co-op Family Zone.

Do you run a local junior grassroots side? Or maybe your son or daughter plays for a team and you think the side would enjoy their day? Perfect for team bonding, get in touch now to register your interest ahead of the 2022-23 season.

Sides are able to take advantage of our group booking rates, while all team players are invited onto the pitch prior to kick-off ready to form the guard of honour.
