The Iron are set to travel to last season’s promotion challengers Brackley Town for an opening day encounter with the Saints.

Following the initial draft release of the fixtures, Scunthorpe have been drawn to face an all too familiar Brackley side at St James Park on Saturday, August 10th, 2024. The two outfits met four times the year prior, and in doing so United gained a record of one win, one draw and two losses.

The week following on from the fixture, the Iron will host newly promoted side Marine on Saturday, August 17th, 2024, in what will be the first league game back on the Attis Arena turf.

The longest trip for the Iron this upcoming 2024-25 season is to be just the second away game, as Scunthorpe will face Suffolk-based side Needham Market on Tuesday, August 20th, 2024.

The club’s Christmas period fixtures have been arranged so that United will travel to face Peterborough Sports on Boxing Day and then will hosts King's Lynn Town on New Year’s Day.

Good Friday sees the Scunthorpe host the reverse fixture of New Year's Day, welcoming the Linnets to the Attis Arena, while Easter Monday is the reverse of the Boxing Day fixture, with United entertaining Peterborough Sports.

To end the campaign, United will be made to make another lengthy trip, this time towards the Welsh border where they will face Hereford on Saturday, April 26th, 2025.
