Written on their Go Fund Me page, they state: "The Iron Hour Podcast are raising funds for our beloved Scunthorpe United Football Club.
"The club and everyone involved have worked tirelessly to reduce the debts, bring in supporters new and old on our mission to get back into the National League and beyond. From being days away from liquidation to being second in the NLN, on May 19th, the Iron Hour Podcast are going against a Yorkshire-based Everton Supporter's Club at the Attis Arena, with all funds raised going directly to the club.
"Not only is this event aimed at raising vital funds for the club, it's also a celebration of the fact we still have a club as we enter our 125th year.
"Thank you to the Wakefield Everton lads for supporting our great cause and backing us when it’s needed more than ever."
